Repertorium
Repertorium Terms of Service
Rules for using Repertorium - the search, the access key and the connector for AI assistants. This is an English translation; the Polish version is binding. The terms apply from 13 October 2026.
§ 1Service provider
The Repertorium service is provided by MateMatic Solutions Sp. z o.o., registered office in Kraków, ul. Wysoka 5, 31-460 Kraków, Poland, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register by the District Court for Kraków-Śródmieście in Kraków, 11th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0001176750, NIP (tax ID) 9452311849, REGON 541947380, share capital PLN 5,000.00 (the "Provider"). Contact: [email protected].
§ 2Definitions
- service - Repertorium: read-only access to corpora of Polish and European Union law and to a computed citation graph, as described in § 3.
- service page - https://matematicsolutions.com/en/repertorium.
- search - searching Repertorium on the service page, without an account or a key.
- key - a personal access key issued through the form on the service page or by the Provider.
- account - access tied to one verified email address, used through the connector in an AI assistant.
- user - a person who uses the service through the search, a key or an account.
§ 3What Repertorium is
- The service is available through the search, a key, and a connector for AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).
- Repertorium returns sources and data about them. It does not give legal advice and does not generate answers. When a user works through the connector, the answer is written by the model of an AI assistant from another provider. Every result carries a locator that lets you check the quotation in the source.
- The corpora have limits in time and scope. The service reports the current date range of each source.
- Documents come from public sources, named with each result. Only texts of acts published in official journals (Dziennik Ustaw, Monitor Polski, Official Journal of the European Union) have official force. Official texts of judgments and decisions are published by the courts and authorities that issued them.
- The Provider is the maker of the Repertorium database within the meaning of the Polish Act of 27 July 2001 on the protection of databases.
§ 4Technical requirements
To use the service you need:
- a device with internet access and an up-to-date web browser; for account sign-in, with cookies enabled,
- for an account - an active email address,
- for the connector - an AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.
§ 5Conclusion and termination of the agreement
- The agreement for the service is concluded when the user starts using the search, receives a key or signs in to an account for the first time. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period.
- The user may terminate the agreement at any time: stop using the service and, for a key or an account, also request its deletion by writing to [email protected].
- The Provider may terminate the agreement with 14 days' notice sent to the email address of the account or key, or with immediate effect in the cases described in § 9(2).
§ 6Account and key
- An account is created by signing in with an email address and a code sent to that address.
- One email address is one account. Creating multiple accounts or keys to get around limits is prohibited.
- The key and account access are personal. They must not be shared with third parties.
- The connector and the key are also meant to be used by an AI assistant. Queries the assistant sends on the user's instruction count as use by that user and fall within the user's limits.
§ 7Limits
- The search, keys and accounts have limits described on the service page. On the date of this version of the terms, an account includes 50 tool calls in 30 days and at most 3 full documents per day.
- The Provider may change the limits of free access. It announces changes on the service page.
- On request sent to [email protected], the Provider may grant higher limits individually. Terms of paid services, once introduced, will be set out in a separate document.
§ 8Rules of use
- In particular, the following are prohibited:
- extracting or re-utilising all or a substantial part, evaluated qualitatively or quantitatively, of the contents of the Repertorium database,
- repeated and systematic extraction or re-utilisation of insubstantial parts of the contents that conflicts with normal use of the database, including through multiple accounts, keys or automated tools,
- using results to build a competing database,
- training, fine-tuning or evaluating artificial intelligence models on the contents of the database or on the results,
- circumventing security measures and limits,
- actions that disrupt the service,
- submitting unlawful content to the service.
- The Provider expressly reserves the reproduction of the Repertorium database for text and data mining (Article 8a of the Polish Act on the protection of databases): such reproduction requires the Provider's consent. The reservation is also expressed in machine-readable form (the TDMRep protocol). Requests for consent can be sent to [email protected]. Reading results by an AI assistant in response to a user's question is not text and data mining (§ 6(4)).
- The service does not offer bulk export of the database.
- This section does not restrict the use of insubstantial parts of the database contents to the extent permitted by Article 7 of the Polish Act on the protection of databases.
§ 9Suspension and blocking
- If an account, a key or use of the search breaches these terms, the Provider first warns the user at the email address of the account or key and gives 5 working days to change the way the service is used. If the breach continues, it may suspend or block access. If it does not know the email address, the service returns information about the block when it is used.
- If a breach threatens the security of the service or the database, in particular an attempt to extract a substantial part of the contents, the Provider may block access immediately, without warning, and inform the user afterwards.
- A suspension or block can be appealed within 14 days of receiving information about it, by writing to [email protected]. The Provider replies within 14 days.
§ 10Liability
- The Provider makes reasonable efforts to keep the corpora complete and up to date within the declared scope, but does not guarantee that the sources are complete or current.
- A result does not replace checking the official source or the user's own legal assessment.
- Free access is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for damage resulting from using results without checking the official source, or for interruptions in the service. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or to rights that consumer protection law does not allow to be excluded.
§ 11Complaints
- Complaints can be sent to [email protected]. A complaint should include the user's email address and a description of the problem.
- The Provider handles a complaint within 14 days of receiving it and replies to the address from which it was sent.
§ 12Personal data and security
- The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy: https://matematicsolutions.com/en/privacy-policy.
- Free access is provided in exchange for search data: on the free account and in the search, the Provider stores the text of searches to improve the database, on the terms and for the periods described in the privacy policy. It does not store briefs sent for citation checking. On paid plans it does not store search text.
- Users do not enter clients' personal data or information covered by professional secrecy in searches.
- Using services provided over the internet carries typical risks, such as theft of sign-in data or impersonation of a message sender. The Provider never asks for passwords. The sign-in code comes from [email protected].
§ 13Final provisions
- These terms are governed by Polish law.
- Disputes with users who are not consumers are resolved by the court competent for the Provider's registered office. In disputes with consumers, jurisdiction follows the statutory rules that protect consumers.
- These terms apply from 13 October 2026. The Provider announces changes to the terms on the service page at least 14 days before they take effect, and informs users of accounts and keys with an email address by email. A change required by law or by the security of the service may take effect earlier.
- A user who does not accept the changes may terminate the agreement before they take effect, as described in § 5(2).
