Version history
PATRON has been released publicly since June 2026. Below are the version numbers, the dates and the scope of each release, including the defects we found and fixed ourselves. The current version is 1.3.0, from 24 August 2026.
Windows 10/11 · AGPL-3.0 · semantic versioning
Published 23 August 2026.
A release with one sentence behind it: the product stops pretending to read a language it never loaded.
FixedAll nine editions read scans with the Polish OCR model. A lawyer in Munich scanned a German contract and got text that looks like a result and is not one, and that text then went into the index, into a citation and into an answer. With the Polish model the share of correctly recognised words was 47% for German and 50% for Portuguese, against 100% with the model for the document's own language. From this version the OCR language follows the edition.
AddedUntil now the log exported a single event, and the firm's administrator did it, because that answers the auditor's question. The new pack answers the client's question about how the analysis came about: the content, the verdict on every citation, the chain excerpt and the models used. The author of the document downloads it, because the boundary is the case, not an administrator role.
CorrectedThe interface wrote without diacritics: Configuracoes instead of Configurações, Nova revisao instead of Nova revisão. Corrected across 178 dictionary lines. The Brazilian and Spanish tutorials caught up with the Polish one.
A missing language pack now switches OCR off instead of recognising in the wrong language. Before, a missing engine or pack logged a warning and let the build through, so the installer shipped without OCR and the scan was rejected only at the recipient's desk. Green build, dead feature: that shape of failure now has mechanical checks on the packaged application, including whether an edition carries its own connectors and whether they are switched on.
A release along two axes: a visual language of its own, and a working pass on the installed application that pulled out defects the green tests could not see.
FixedEvidence pack export and Merkle seal verification did not work in the packaged application: the button called a relative address while the front end and the back end sit on different ports. This affected every installer published before. The gate meant to catch it was green, because it scanned too narrow a directory.
Obverse and reverseTwo pigments and one gold. Dark mode is not a separate palette but the same sheet with the roles swapped. Text-to-background contrast of 13.4:1 and 14.4:1, above the WCAG AAA threshold. The golden section is written into tokens and held by a gate.
AddedThe window remembers its size and position, text zoom keeps its level, and an "About" window shows the version and the data path. A saved position is only accepted when it fits on a currently connected screen.
The support form stopped sending anything to our server. Rather than build an endpoint through which an application bound by professional secrecy would ship content to the vendor, the form now composes the message and hands it to the mail client. A person sends it.
Nine language editions, all from a single line of code.
AddedThe Brazilian, British and American editions merged into the shared line of code, alongside the Italian, German, Spanish and French ones. The agent's language follows the regional setting.
EUREKATax rulings from the Polish Ministry of Finance database as the seventh built-in source, next to case law, statutes, the company register and EU law.
AddedApproval cards for changes: write operations wait for a human decision instead of running immediately. Plus a verifier bundled into the audit export pack.
The first public release. The installer was made available for download without registration, the code under AGPL-3.0.

Numbering follows semantic versioning. We treat 15 June 2026 as the date of public opening, the day the installer became downloadable without registration. Earlier version tags in the repository come from before the numbering settled and do not describe public releases.
A Windows installer, nine language editions, no registration.
